Hey y’all! I’m Amanda, the local fashion blogger behind Type A Style. Type A Style is a fashion blog devoted to my most favorite outfits, interior design and lifestyle hacks. I am a twenty something who has lived in Elizabethtown my entire life. I consider myself a “professional shopper,” even though shopping is truly just a hobby. Because I approach life with a frugal eye, I love sharing perfect outfits, beauty products and interior decor that is both aesthetically and financially pleasing.
After searching for a creative outlet to occupy my mind and extend my personal resume, I decided to share my love of fashion and interior design through a lifestyle blog. Two years and over 16k followers later, Type A Style has evolved into many different avenues featuring affordable and achievable fashion and home decor, homestyle recipes, nifty beauty tips and modern motherhood. Through this amazing platform I have been blessed to work with some awesome brands, including Macy’s, Kroger, Kendra Scott and Sun Tan City.
Born and raised in Elizabethtown, I am proudly married to my high school sweetheart, Josh, a police officer in this great town. Together we spend the majority of our time obsessing over our newborn son, Maverick, and his furry brother, Bentley. I work full-time in all aspects of my life: as a wife, mommy, social media influencer and corporate professional as a Senior Business Analyst for a national healthcare company.
As a self-driven fashionista I’m motivated to bring a frugal outlook on a chic lifestyle through mommy and beauty tips, #ootd’s (Outfits of the Day), home decor inspiration and so much more! Follow along as I find my way through life, one outfit at a time!
